What does the name "Hraftzer" mean?
It is made up, its just a name.
What is Hraftzer?
This is a cultural and life system. Above all it is a private "society"with shared beliefs, goals and history. Hraftzer is an emerging civilization and ethnos. It consists of three distinct aspects: religion, culture and tribe. A person can adopt any one of those aspects of being Hraftzer. All of this is explained well in our literary cannon. In the context of our Kindreds (such as Kindred Delta) Hraftzer is primarily about the tribe and association with other Hraftzers and global networks.
What Are The Goals?
Our goal is to advance the quality of each others life and to work together. We do this through shared values and culture. We also seek to improve the world by standing as a model of civilized and successful culture and peoplehood. We spread this culture of doing better to our children and families and mutually influence each other. We often pick up the habits of the company we keep. Therefore we seek to associate with people who share our values and attitudes.
Generally the post-renaissance classical liberal culture of Western Europe (and by extension the United States, Australia, New Zealand etc.). This contrast greatly with modern "liberalism" which is essentially cultural marxism. We often refer to our culture as "Germanic" culture which is largely expressed in Anglo culture, law etc. We are not Germanic, Aryan or any of those. We are 100% Hraftzer but we come from a European root. In the same way we can say Jewish is above all Jewish rather than Semetic or African. We do not consider people who are not active members in our community to be our "brothers" or "sisters".
What is Asatru?
It is our religion. It is based on the pre-christian traditions and beliefs of Europe. These traditions (such as not being a mindless sheep) were reborn somewhat in the European Renaissance (which means "rebirth). Hraftzer is rooted in modern Asatru religion and culture but is also a new thing. We define who we are, what we are and what we believe in the present. The Hraftzer religion was developed recently as a form of Asatru. We do not need anyone else defining us, therefore other Asatru groups and their beliefs may not be relevant to us. We are also shaped and molded by the modern evolution and genesis of our tribe and culture. We do not need to be exact copies of the past. We forge our own destiny as a modern living people.
What We Do
We share our culture with each other and we work together for success. We believe that the community and culture we are a part of plays a major role in our personal success and happiness.
How Are We Organized
We are a network of networks based on a common culture, common beliefs, and often a common heritage.
